Tanah Abang , Jakarta

We then went to the shoppin complex at Tanah Abang, the taxi fair was 60,000 rupiah. We went to Block A, block F is for buying in bulk if you want to do business it is the best place.
When we reached the shopping complex it was 8.00am still too early, only ten percent of the shop is in business. most of them still closed. The lane in the complex is quite narrow and and congested. This place you need to bargain. If you have the patient you can get a good price at leat 40% off the offer price.
You can eat at the 8th floor. There is a varities of Indonesian food as well as KFC.
Not recommended for European tourist cause nothing much to offer here for European further more the size does not fit european.

we stayed at Millennium Hotel, Sireh, Jakarta in the City centre, a walking distance from Tanah Abang shpping arcade (shopping heaven for Malaysian women). It was dark when we reached the hotel. Not much activiy to do exept take a bath and sleep. I tried to walk around to look for a mini market but I did not find one. I chicken out half way because I don't know the area.

Jakarta

On the June 26, 2010 I flew to Jakarta by KLM with my family. I it took one hour 30 minutes to fly with boeing 777. When we reached Sukarno Hatta International Airport it was only aroung 7.00pm but it was so dark as if it was 8.00pm in Kuala Lumpur. The immigaration was congested. It took almost an hour to get clear the immigration.
We then took the airport taxi. It was a Toyota Innova. Not bad for 200,000 rupias. (RM62.50) compare to KLIA is very cheap and the the vehicle is better than KLIA KIA Pregio.

Night time in Istanbul

This is my first experience walking in the street at night at foreign country. Normally when I travel to other country I never walk at night. I always feel tired after walking for hours during the day time and I could hardly move my legs at night. It is quite an experience, and the city is qiuite crouded at night and nice beautiful lights. It it quite safe in Istanbul. I did not enter the dark and lonely areas. There is quite a number of grave yard in the city with high tombs. Some even have a cafe in the centre of the grave yard.
