My Experience in Turkey

When I first arrived at Istanbul I was so exited to walk around. I walked aroung my hotel and look around. I found out that the tourist attraction site was not far from where I stay. Most of the servenoir shops were so colourful.

The Water World Langkawi

You can spent sometimes in here just to cool off yourself. It is quite a interesting place to visit, there is quite a number of spicies of fishes in here.

Pantai Batu Hitam

Pantai Batu Hitam is on the other side of Langkawi. The Beach is very clean but not much people during the weekdays and off school holidays. You need to drive here, it it quite far from the town Kuah and other interesting places. This beach is not popular to tourist. The view is not that nice and having a cement factory and ports nearby. You can see Thailand from here. There is no lifeguard here at the time I was here.

Cenang Beach Langkawi

Cenang Beach know as "Pantai Cenang" to Malaysian is hidden by the ugly serveniour shops and hotels and can be hardly seen from the road side. This is due to very bad planning by the authorities concern. Maybe the have inexperience pesonel in handling the project. The authorities should appoint good planner inorder to have a world class resort. See how bad is the place now.

Burau Bay Beach

The sandy beach of Burau Bay is quite a privacy. There is no hawkers around and no illegal building either. You can only see some youngsters dating around. This place is quiet. You need a own transport to arrive here. The authorities need to clean the beach with a machine. In order to turn Langkawi a world class Island resort many things should be done here. Langkawi needs a good ,experience, and dedicated manager and planner. This is what Malaysia don't have. Most of those who works in the authorities is not sincere in doing their job. They only want to do something with high rewards forthemselves.

Langkawi Island Malaysia

This is Burau Bay where I took a swim. The beach is not that long and the water is not deep. The water is quite clear compare to other parts of Langkawi. There is quite a number of good hotels aroung here. The cable car is very nearby. There is also place for horse riding. For horse riding is quite wxpensive for a Malaysian. You can find a strange lizard if you go the Burau Bay hotel beach. It is only found here. I did not have the potogaraph with me. The lizard is about 6 inches long and yellow in colour.

Langkawi Island Malaysia

It is advisable to take a plane to Langkawi from KLIA. It is more economical and time saving. When I reached the Langkawi International Airport there is quite alot of car rental company. It is quite reasonable if you get to Langkawi during the off seasons (i.e. not during the school holidays). Make sure you get to the neareast petrol station before you drive the car. You can find a petrol station very near to the airport. when you get out of the car park go 12 o'clock. you will find a Petronas station near by. Most of the retal cars do not have petrol.

After you have filled the tank, you can go for swim. I like the Burau Bay beach. It is consider as clean and not too many development. The Chenang beach is badly organised, you can't see the beach from the road. All the nice landscape has been blocked by the stupid shops and hotels. What a waste. The authorities is stupid I guess. This is what happen an Island given to a donkey to manage.
